Research shows that journaling is good for your mental health — whether you’re keeping a gratitude list, recording daily events, sorting personal problems, or exploring creative ideas. In this one-night workshop, I’ll share the benefits of starting a journaling practice, borrowing ideas from Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way and Anna Quindlen’s new book, Write for Your Life. Inspirational family
“These are the people I consider family: The people who have been in my corner cheering me on. They support me and are genuinely happy when good things happen in my career. They are also the people who have been there with me when things aren’t going well…. I know I can count on them.” ~Ruben Marquez, visual artist

Practicing forgiveness
“I like the Jewish example of saying you’re sorry to everyone at least once a year. When you think about it, it’s doubtful you haven’t done something in a year to hurt someone’s feelings, even if you didn’t realize it at the time. That person may be harboring pain or ill will, and a simple, “Please forgive me if I’ve hurt you” can do wonders in making it go away.” ~Mitch Albom, in the Detroit Free Press Cindy La Ferle Check out featured posts, additional content, and a NEW link to my Pinterest boards on the home page.
